Our Print Methods
We use both DTF and Sublimation Printing methods.
DTF printing uses a special film and adhesive powder to place a design on top of almost any material (including cotton and dark fabrics), while sublimation uses inks that turn into gas under heat and permanently fuse with polyester-based or polymer-coated items.
Sublimation involves printing a design onto special transfer paper using sublimation inks, then placing the paper onto the product and heating it with heat press. inks turn into gas and fuse with the fabric creating a permanent imprint that is breathable and soft. Sublimation printing allows for whole prints that go seam-to-seam. It is cheaper than DTF's, preferably used on polyester and does not print white ink.
DTF, however, solves one of sublimation's biggest issues: the inability to apply directly to darks and cottons with white ink. These prints also are longer lasting and offer more vibrant results.
Both processes are print and press. There is no cutting or weeding required which makes both sublimation and DTF ideal for full color graphics and images.
We use our best judgement on choosing what method would work best for your custom needs.
